In our 4 years in the watch business, it's the first time that we have ever had a black dial Zodiac Astrographic in our inventory! This watch is very, VERY rare as we have sold hundreds in the past - mostly with blue & gold dials - never one with a black dial until now!
ZODIAC's design innovation of the floating red dot (represents seconds) & floating hands (represents hours & minutes) in this ZODIAC Astrographic won the 1972 "Montres et Bijoux" exhibition.
 has a stainless steel case. Within the case, its corners are filled in with matte black enamel to frame the dial!
